Commands should be firm yet sharp, whereas corrections require a louder tone. Natural voicing is good for praise and reinforcement.

Try to keep your leash loose when you take your dog outside to train. Dogs want to see what's going on around them at all times. This means they'll pull on the leash. Instead of setting up this dynamic, put some slack into the leash in order to help your pet walk with you.
