Avoid restraining two dogs too closely together. If there chains become entangled with one another it could lead to an injury. In the case that a large dog and small dog become entangled, the large dog's rope or chain could cut off air circulation to the small dog, and it could be severely injured or die.

Teaching your dog to not tug and pull when on his leash is an important part of his training. This is both for the dog's safety and your own, as well.

Make sure that both you and your dog enjoy the daily training. When you play with your dog, it strengthens the bond between you and them, thus encouraging the pet to stay positive during training. Training is fun for your dog, but it doesn't always have to be about learning something new. Play for the sake of playing.

In order to reduce your dark's barking, have your dog get used to the things that are causing them to bark. It might be a noise or simply coming into contact with other animals or people. They'll learn quickly barking isn't their best option.

Accidents are a part of training your puppy to go potty outside. Clean up any messes that are made immediately, so it doesn't hamper your training efforts. When a dog uses the house to relive itself, the smell can linger on the carpet if not cleaned properly. You will then have a dog that will continue to use that same spot all of the time. Many products are sold that will neutralize these odors, so ask about them at your local pet store.
